We use the simple past to say something that already past. The verbs you use can be regulars o irregulars. The regular verbs always end at -ed. The auxiliary verb we more use is DID. (The past of do)
Examples of regular verbs:
- Positive: I played tennis yesterday.
- Negative: I didn't play tennis yasterday.
- Iterrogative: Did you play tennis yesterday?
Examples of irregular verbs:
- Positive: I slept yesterday in my uncle's home.
- Negative: I didn't sleep yesterday in my uncle's home.
- Interrogative: Did you sleep yesterday in your uncle's home?
